Adromischus maculatus, also known as Calico Hearts or Chocolate Drop, is a delightful succulent native to the Eastern Cape and Western Cape regions of South Africa. It has short, decumbent to erect stems with leaves that are green, grey-green, or greyish brown, often adorned with dark purple spots. The branches start green and develop peeling bark as they age. It forms small clusters or mats, reaching up to 4 inches (10 cm) in height.
