Aloe marlothii, also known as Mountain Aloe, is a large succulent native to rocky areas in southern Africa. Aloe marlothii has a single, usually unbranched stem that can grow up to 10 feet (3 meters) tall. At the top of the stem, it forms a rosette of stiff, **grey-green to blue.

Light: Place your Mountain Aloe in bright, indirect sunlight. It thrives in full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix. Aloe marlothii prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil.

Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly when you do water.
During the growing season (spring and summer), water more frequently.
In winter, reduce watering to prevent root rot.

Mountain Aloe prefers warm temperatures and can tolerate heat. Protect it from frost during winter.
