Cedrus libani 'Green Prince' is a very dwarf, irregular growing selection of Lebanon cedar. Its rich, dark-green foliage is shorter than the type and very dense, hiding the shoots. It's branching has the same horizontal growth pattern as does the mature species, making it an excellent candidate for Bonsai work. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 3 feet (1 m) tall and 2-thirds as wide, an annual growth rate of 2 to 4 inches (5 - 10 cm).
