Portulaca molokiniensis, commonly called Hawaiian Portulaca or ‘ihi, is a rare, drought-tolerant succulent native to a few coastal sites in Hawaii, where it is listed as an endangered species. It is valued for its unique stacked foliage and small yellow flowers. This small upright shrub typically grows 12–24 inches tall with emerald green, fleshy, round leaves arranged in tight whorls along sturdy stems, giving a pagoda-like look.
