Schefflera 'Amate' is a selection of the species Schefflera actinophylla, bred to be a bit more sturdy than the original species when kept indoors as a houseplant. This beautiful indoor tree has large, palmately compound leaves. While juvenile plants have fewer sections, the mature leaves have seven leaflets, for a truly striking effect that gives it the common name, Octopus Tree. Schefflera Amate has a beautiful, upright growth habit and can grow quite large in your home.
Light: Medium to bright indirect light
